About Our Homes

  • Energy Star- Our project in Bow, "The Estates at Peaslee Hill", features all Energy Star compliant homes. These homes are rated up to 30% more efficient than non-rated homes. All testing and ratings are done by an independent evaluation company. Any new home being built should be built at least to these standards! We will be more than happy to talk to you about what goes into creating an “Energy Star Home”.
  • Low Maintenance- Vinyl siding or other low maintenance siding solutions are a good place to start, but other items should be given serious thought. PVC trim boards, and decking along with vinyl rail systems can save as much down the road as the siding.
  • Private Wells- Today’s technology not only includes a properly drilled well but an updated pump system. We are encouraging everyone to consider today’s "Smart Pumps". These pumps are the most energy efficient and deliver the most consistent water pressure available.
  • Septic Systems- Every lot we do has a private system that uses the best design available for that lot.
  • Heating Systems- There are a wide variety of options for heating and cooling. Most of our houses are built with forced hot air and air conditioning. Propane has been the fuel of choice because it allows us to use very efficient equipment. There are many options to look at including Geo-Thermal.
  • Building Green- Energy Star homes go a long way in the "Green Equation" and there are certainly plenty of options for building as green as you want. It is up to the customer to weigh the values and make individual decisions in their design.
  • Plan Design- We are happy to work with you on your designs along with your plan designer or ours. If your home involves an architect we are more than happy to work with that firm.
  • Kitchens, Baths and Interior Design- Gerrie Pike's extensive experience in design and her strong contacts in the industry allow her to provide updated, beautiful kitchens, baths and interior moldings that fit almost any budget. There is no additional charge for her expertise even if it includes finding furniture and accessories.
  • Sub-Contractors- Pike Construction LLC employs only insured quality sub-contractors that are knowledgeable and stand behind their work. We have long standing relationships with most of our contractors.
  • Renovations and Additions- In addition to building new homes, we also provide renovation services and build additions. We are happy to bid on and complete this work in the Bow area. Because the amount of supervision and time required for smaller projects is the same as for a home, we typically do not go out of the area for this type work. However, we always tackle any project for our previous customers no matter where they go or what their needs may be.
  • Quality- We employ local craftsmen and trades people and demand quality work from each and every one. If the quality of the workmanship is not satisfactory or warranty work is not done in a timely and professional manner, they simply will not work for us!
  • Pricing- Most of our work is done on a contract basis. There are no extra charges unless they are agreed upon and signed for up front. With very few exceptions our customers stay within the budget and the job is completed on time. In today’s market no one can afford unforeseen expenses and delays.
